Dr. Kwame Obeng Nti

Dr. Kwame Obeng Nti is a Development Planner and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) specialist with over 20 years of professional experience in project planning, management, monitoring and evaluation, institutional development and capacity building — including more than 12 years of specialised experience in monitoring, evaluation and knowledge management. He has designed and implemented M&E systems, institutional assessments, and baseline, mid-term, final and performance evaluations for public-sector, donor-funded and civil-society programmes across Ghana and Africa.

As Lead Partner of SIGA Consult since October 2021, he provides strategic leadership on monitoring, evaluation, research, organisational development and institutional capacity strengthening. He previously served as Senior Director, Monitoring and Evaluation at the International Centre for Evaluation and Development (ICED), and as Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist for the OFID/BADEA-funded Integrated Rural Development Project, while acting as the Social Investment Fund's focal point for the Green Climate Fund (GCF) accreditation process. Earlier roles under the African Development Bank-funded Ghana Poverty Reduction and Urban Poverty Reduction Projects built his hands-on delivery experience.

Dr. Obeng Nti has undertaken assignments for programmes funded by the World Bank, UNESCO, Global Affairs Canada, IFAD, USADF, the GCF and the African Development Bank, with deep expertise in results-based management, strategic planning, theory of change and mixed-method evaluation. He holds a PhD in Planning and an MSc in Development Policy and Planning from KNUST, and a diploma in Project Management from the Galilee International Management Institute, Israel.
