Gideon Quartey Obeng has over 10 years of experience in government affairs, policy and communications, technical writing, evaluation research design, and data analysis and reporting. He has a strong track record of producing compelling, clear and succinct documents, and is adept at writing customised proposals and responses to complex requests for proposals (RFPs).

He has contributed to high-profile projects supporting effective decision-making on biodiversity and climate change, and has worked with local and international organisations and governments to develop telecommunications infrastructure in Ghana, improve water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), and advance climate-smart agriculture. His assignments have been funded by the Government of Ghana, Global Affairs Canada, IFAD, Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA), the World Bank, USADF (Burundi), Water Health International and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), reporting on the effectiveness, relevance, impact and sustainability of development interventions.
